Charles Aznavour Square
Square in 2001 was finally formed and officially renamed in honor of the world-famous singer and songwriter Charles Aznavour.
Many years ago it called by Khachatur Abovyan's name. Here was a monument to the writer, which is now in his House-Museum in Kanaker.
Fountains in the center of the square represent the twelve signs of the zodiac.
Along the perimeter of the square is a cinema, Moscow, Hotel Golden Tulip, House of Artists of Armenia and the Russian Drama Theatre named after Stanislavsky.
On Aznavour Square often organized rock concerts and youth events.
