Erablur National Cemetery

Erablur is the national cemetery, where buried graves of soldiers died during Karabakh war. Status of the cemetery was passed by the decree of the RF Government in 26 May 1992. Erablur is located in the western part of Yerevan, the right of the Yerevan-Etchmiadzin highway, on the Yerablur hill (951 m). Area is 19, 22 ha. The authors of the plan and architectural decisions are the architects of A. Mkhitaryan workshop.

The tombstones made from basalt. In Erablur buried the remains of Andranik, as well as national heroes of Armenia V. Sargsyan, Dzh. Abraamyan, M. Melkonyan and more than 673 soldiers. On the left side of the Yerablur is a chapel, on the contrary - the Museum of the fallen warriors, near the monument perpetuating the memory of 39 soldiers of the Armenian Secret Army Liberation , in the depths is the memory monument of missing soldiers. The complex is guarded by a military guard service.
